    Architect Janus Rostock on the Dubai Opera

    With over 20 years’ experience in architecture, Janus Rostock specializes in envisioning of complex multidisciplinary projects and master plans. He has expertise in a wide variety of projects across the Middle East, Africa and Europe. He is now responsible for leading Atkins’ Middle East Architecture and Urban Design team.

    Atkins architects and engineers were the lead designers of Dubai Opera, developed by Emaar Properties and officially open since August 2016. Janus Rostock talks to ArchiExpo e-Magazine about the layout of the opera house and offers pointed advice on what architects should consider when designing the architectural outline of an opera house.
