Certain brands show early promise, but only time will tell. Copenhagen-based New Works will present their latest products, including the Bowl Table Lamp designed by the brand’s Creative Director, Knut Bendik Humlevik. Iconic British designer, Tom Dixon will create a headline presentation for the entire building. “In an abandoned 300 square metre theatre, ‘The Cinema’ will be an interactive entertainment show highlighting our latest designs through a series of installations.” Tom Dixon in a press release for designjunction edit.

A lamp that had been off the market for around 50 years is back to celebrate its 60th anniversary: The Dokka Lamp, relaunched by Nordic design company Northern Lighting in 2007. The Nordic design company pampers the lamp with 6 fresh colors, quite a nice birthday gift. Further south, Italian brand Colè will present new products, such as the Colette chair by Lorenza Bozzoli, along with existing collections. Black lacquered MDF and a textile with decorated bands in African red and indigo blue make up Colette’s structure.
