“What does it look like when a designer creates their own material?” Brent Dzekciorius asked himself while launching his design production company, Dzek. After many late conversations with designer Max Lamb, the marble-composite material, Marmoreal, was born.
Design advisor and curator, Dzekciorius launched Dzek in 2009 and worked as director of retail operations at Phillips de Pury in London from 2010 to 2013, collaborating with the world’s top designers.
After perusing this year’s Salone del Mobile in Milan, Brent took a moment to chat with ArchiExpo about his anti-method philosophy as well as his must-sees from the Salone.
