We enter Orveda’s beauty house in Paris to learn about the interior design and products therein which play a vital role in how this new sanctuary will benefit the wellbeing of its guests. Maison Orveda Paris was built under the supervision of Romain Freychet & Antoine Prax from GRAMME.

Building upon the success of Maison Orveda in Shanghai and New York, the recently opened Paris location at 6 Place Saint-Sulpice embodies a sophisticated blend of science, wellness, and artistry. Designed as a sanctuary for longevity and beauty, the space harmonizes cutting-edge biotechnology with Parisian architectural traditions. Spread across two floors, the beauty house offers a carefully curated environment that merges scientific expertise with refined aesthetics, ensuring a holistic experience for every visitor.

Founded in 2014 by Nicolas Vu and Sue Nabi, Orveda was created with a vision to redefine skincare through biotechnology. Both founders brought extensive expertise in the beauty industry—Sue Nabi, a former CEO of L’Oréal, and Nicolas Vu, a visionary entrepreneur. Their approach combines scientific advancements with a deep understanding of skin longevity, resulting in a brand that emphasizes working with the skin rather than against it.

Maison Orveda Paris is a multi-functional hub that celebrates beauty through innovative skincare, artistic expression, and cultural engagement. From custom-designed treatments to immersive events, this space is an invitation to explore new dimensions of beauty and self-care.

Skinescence: A Multisensory Opening Ceremony & a Hub of Life

To mark the inauguration of Maison Orveda Paris in December 2024, the brand hosted Skinescence, a multisensory event celebrating the intersection of biotechnology and art. Central to this experience was the work of artist Junior Fritz Jacquet, known for his intricate origami installations. Inspired by Orveda’s signature packaging, his bespoke creations reimagined the brand’s visual identity through folded paper sculptures displayed in the boutique’s vitrines.

The event also featured immersive projections by artist Thomas Vanz, whose cosmic and cellular-inspired visuals transformed the boutique into a living canvas. Live performances and interactive scientific demonstrations further enriched the experience, highlighting the brand’s commitment to blending high-tech skincare with artistic storytelling. Through Skinescence, Orveda positioned itself as more than a beauty brand—it became a pioneer in merging aesthetic innovation with scientific advancement.

The opening ceremony exemplifies the Maison Orveda Paris goes beyond skincare. It serves as a vibrant gathering place, offering a diverse array of events that foster well-being, knowledge, and creativity. The space hosts regular exhibitions, wellness workshops, scientific talks on longevity, and exclusive masterclasses. Internationally recognized experts are frequently invited to discuss advancements in cosmetic medicine, share insights on skin aging, and explore the future of skincare longevity.

This commitment to a multidisciplinary approach extends to weekly interactive sessions, where guests can engage in activities linked to beauty, well-being, and personal care. Maison Orveda Paris is more than a showroom—it is a living ecosystem that embodies the evolving relationship between science, design, and holistic wellness.

Enhancing Beauty Care Through Interior Design

The architectural and interior design of Maison Orveda Paris plays a fundamental role in shaping the guest experience. Rooted in Parisian elegance, the space integrates classical elements such as solid-oak herringbone parquet floors and expansive mirrors reminiscent of the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles. These elements create an ambiance that is both luxurious and inviting, blending heritage with contemporary minimalism.

The layout of the beauty house guides guests through a seamless journey of discovery. Upon arrival, visitors undergo a personalized consultation to assess their skincare needs. They are then led to one of the ‘cabinets of curiosity,’ each meticulously designed to showcase Orveda’s biotechnology-driven formulations. The consultation spaces emphasize a scientific yet serene aesthetic, ensuring that each interaction is informative and immersive.

A striking architectural feature is the central staircase, which serves as a visual and functional anchor between the two levels. Natural light filters through the space, enhancing the tranquil atmosphere and reinforcing Orveda’s ethos of clarity and rejuvenation. Upstairs, the treatment rooms incorporate deep-green marble—a nod to Orveda’s signature color palette—alongside soft lighting and ergonomic spa beds, creating an environment optimized for relaxation and skin restoration.

From conceptualization to execution, every design element within Maison Orveda Paris has been thoughtfully curated to align with the brand’s philosophy of longevity, beauty, and well-being. By integrating art, architecture, and scientific innovation, Orveda has created a space that is not just a beauty house but an experiential destination that redefines luxury skincare.
