London’s various design districts brought another round of inspiring objects to view. ArchiExpo enjoyed spotting the best products and installations for 2015.

Curiosity Cloud by renowned Austrian design duo mischer’traxler. Each of the 250 mouth-blown glass globes contained a single hand-fabricated insect and each insect was printed onto foil. When far away, the insects were quiet and calm; as visitors entered the room, the insects moved quicker and made noise.

Exceptional products varied from Berlin-based NEO/CRAFT designs that portray geometrical delights and an innovative lighting technique, to Polish designer Malgorzata Mozolewska’s Eye of the Light project, metal fabric created to reflect light.

French brand Mr. & Mr. were both playful and serious with their vases Layers, made entirely of paint on paint, and Mille-feuilles, a composition of bubble wrap and packaging materials tied together to create a multi-use mattress.

More fun with U.K. artist Tessa Brown on social interaction with her installation of textile structures, the Studio Chamber feeds imagination. Watch the video on The Changing Room Ting, the most recent iteration of Studio Chamber, the retractable textile room.
