During our visit to Habitat Avignon, French company Lilly Box exhibited its container pool at the entrance of the event.
October 8-10, 2021—Habitat Avignon brings all aspects of the home into one event, including construction and renovation products as well as those for the kitchen, bathroom, flooring, decoration, heating and the garden. No matter the season, one can always think about how to improve garden projects, and Lilly Box presented one of its container pools at the event as well as a few other structures.
The container pool can be purchased or rented. It can be moved to various parts of the garden as it requires no concrete foundation, and the materials are recyclable so it’s an environmentally friendly way to add a pool to the yard.
It’s equipped with a secure interior and/or exterior staircase. The liner or basin is made of stainless steel, and the user can choose between chlorinated or saltwater filtration. The pool has a heat pump to regulate the water temperature, inside lighting and jets. There’s a protection curtain, guardrail and safety device. The exterior cladding can be made from a variety of materials including wood, paint etc so the user can adjust the style of the pool to fit home decor. Lilly Box offers its clients the option of selecting either a new or used container to fabricate the pool.
Each pool is originally designed to match a client’s needs. The customer defines the criteria of his choice such as dimensions, lighting, protections, finish.
A Container Pool is simple to install and easy to maintain. The company states on its website that the energy resources are more economical than a traditional swimming pool. The container is designed to withstand sea transport and therefore provides an excellent structure for a basin. Its resistance to corrosion is a guarantee. Clients can opt for a solar or electric heating system.
