Antrax IT, an Italian company based outside of Venice that specializes in the fabrication and sale of radiators and fireplaces, looks to combine energy-saving technology and sophisticated design in the radiators that they manufacture.

For their recent Black & White collection, which includes four different models, designers Andrea Crosetta, Dante O. Benini and Luca Gonzo based their designs on dualities and geometries that black and white have inspired in photography, cinema, art, design and architecture throughout contemporary history. Each model is customizable to blend into its environment, and offers more color options than the collection’s name implies, with a choice of over two hundred shades and hues.

The tubular steel Tubone, designed by Andrea Crosetta, in elongated oval rings with a considerable thickness of 60 mm, comes in three different modules. The oblong segments can be arranged to fit their host space, placed side by side or stacked, horizontally or vertically. For the vertical configuration, both water and electric versions are available.

Also conceived by Crosetta, Pioli, a name which means ladder rung in Italian, derives its form from its namesake. Two vertical 207-cm rails support horizontal steps in several series of three, playfully modifying a ladder’s traditional form. The carbon steel radiator is available in widths of 40 or 50 cm and can be installed on the floor or on the wall.

Designed by Dante O. Benini and Luca Gonzo, Teso is made of 100 % recyclable extruded aluminum. The smooth 25-cm-wide plate, available in heights of 150, 170 or 200 cm is embellished by a thin circular metal arm where towels and bathrobes can be arranged. The metal arm can be customized in chrome finish, tone-on-tone or in contrast with the flat heating body in the many color possibilities. Like Tubone, Teso can be mounted horizontally or vertically, with two types of heating possibilities in the vertical arrangement.

The Tif radiator is made of 100% recycled aluminum and offers the versatility of a simple rounded-edge plate. It is available in thirteen-dimensional variations with nine different special couplings in addition to the standard ones, allowing it to fit many spatial requirements and exploit areas that would otherwise be left unused. Tif can be equipped with thermostatic valves and fitted with customizable handles at any height in chrome, tone-on-tone or in contrast with the radiator.
