Lately, most of the world has been spending a lot of time at home, motivating many to prioritize home organization systems that maximize space and are easy to use. Pratico is a modular walk-in wardrobe system by Zanette that defines and structures closet areas with wooden wall-paneling and accessories. Designed by Adriano Castiglioni, Pratico is made to be flexible, fitting configurations and functionalities of a variety of wardrobe spaces.

Wooden panels in three different widths and heights, completed by a base and the option of an added top finishing panel, can be adapted to rooms of any size without height or length limitations. The structure can support several storage elements such as wall-mounted shelves, drawer units, pullout trays for shirts, trouser racks, hanging rails and shoe racks. The drawer unit modules have been designed to constitute freestanding islands that can also be accessorized and placed in the wardrobe’s center.

Practico offers several options for the wardrobe doors, including hinged openings, sliding or folding doors, as well as a doorless option. Each wardrobe can have a different number of doors that aren’t bound to any structural measurement requirements.

Pratico is available in heat-treated oak, larch and brushed matt finishes in shades found in the Zanette catalogue. The modular wardrobe can also be completed with accessories in metal, glass and other materials. Additional elements such as mirrors and internal lighting can be added as well.

Designer Castiglioni, who works as a freelancer and founded his own design and architecture studio in 2001, has been collaborating with Zanette since 2005. Castiglioni has designed several other collections for the brand including the Moove Day & Night Collection, Dandy, Frame and Cross wardrobes, Amos, Cloe and Push products for sleeping areas, and the Skin and Charme beds. Zanette, which belongs to Tomasella, prioritizes detail and staying up to date on the way homes and lifestyles change through time. Their products pursue excellence and top-quality materials that are distinctive of Italian design.
