“We work with a wide palette of materials. The challenge is more about combining them. Making a glass vase embrace a ceramic bowl is the real difficulty,” Ranee Lachaize, studio manager, told ArchiExpo e-Magazine. “Our concept is to turn a beautiful design object into something useful and practical. A Stacking Vessel can be the dinner table masterpiece, and then turn into a vase and a fruit bowl.”
The company also recently launcheda new range of glass furniture including the Cestini side table, made of hand-blown glass and basket weaving at Paris’ Maison & Objet.
“We’re always experimenting with new materials and techniques.”
