The second edition of Light Space Dot London, which will be held at ExCel on November 23 and 24 during LuxLive, expects more than 8,000 visitors. Bringing together architects and lighting designers, Light Space will feature more than 40 exhibitors, including top Italian lighting brand Reggiani with their Lux Award-shortlisted Cells range, Indian lighting frontrunner Corvi and industrial design company Lumenpulse. More artificial skylight innovation from CoeLux will also be on display.
A full schedule of Expert Talks will inform visitors about a variety of lighting topics. Emrah Baki Ulas of Steensen Varming will present on contemporary demands for illuminating art in galleries and museums. Mark Sutton Vane of Sutton Vane Associates will show how to highlight great architectural spaces without clutter of visible fittings. Moving beyond design, Light Space will also hear from Dominic Meyrick of Hoare Lea on how light can add value to a project boosting rent and enticing clients, and Professor Russell Foster of Oxford University discussing the important role light plays in sleep cycles.
