April 8 to 13—-The Salone del Mobile 2025 reaffirms its position as the premier international event in the design world. Since its inception in 1961, this iconic fair has become a stage for the most innovative and functional creations in furniture, celebrating craftsmanship, technological advancements, and material excellence.
This year, the event once again serves as a hub for creativity and collaboration, where brands and designers present new prototypes and collections that redefine living spaces. Among the standout themes, outdoor design takes center stage, reflecting how our relationship with nature and space is evolving.
Our time in Milan has allowed us to select some of the most exciting outdoor collections unveiled at the Salone to highlight the latest in outdoor living.
SALÒ for Unopiù: Serene Landscapes of Northern Italy
Unopiù has unveiled its latest outdoor collection, SALÒ. Designed by Matteo Thun and Benedetto Fasciana, this new line takes inspiration from the serene landscapes of Northern Italy, particularly Lake Garda. SALÒ presents a versatile seating system that echoes the colors and essence of its natural muse. The collection features an ultra-lightweight aluminum frame, available in terracotta, graphite, sage green, and sand, harmonizing with premium fabric options. With its gently curved armrests and adaptable cushion system, the furniture ensures both comfort and sophistication.
The collection offers a comprehensive range of outdoor furniture, including lounge and dining armchairs, two-seater and three-seater sofas, various table designs, and accessories such as sun loungers and coffee tables. Some pieces are stackable, further emphasizing functionality without compromising on style. As a longstanding leader in outdoor furniture since 1978, Unopiù continues to set the standard for high-quality, design-forward pieces that enhance both residential and commercial environments worldwide.

Each new piece by Royal Botania tells a story of meticulous expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to responsible luxury. The Table Regaliz, designed by Kris Van Puyvelde, exemplifies elegance with its oval teak base and a glass tabletop that mimics the reflective surface of water. Available in three refined finishes—dark green, dark brown, and pebble—the tabletop is crafted using an advanced fusion technique, resulting in a stunning texture that enhances outdoor aesthetics. Meanwhile, the Archy Chair seamlessly combines modern design with ergonomic functionality, featuring a tubular backrest that contours perfectly to the body and an optional cushion for added comfort.
Another standout in the collection, the Table Furniz, integrates a built-in heating system, making outdoor dining a year-round experience. EMU introduces Antigua, the latest outdoor living collection designed by Federica Biasi, embodying a perfect balance between elegance and versatility. Inspired by the fluidity of ocean waves, Antigua features generous dimensions and soft, organic lines that create a sense of lightness and spontaneity. Designed for diverse outdoor settings, from poolside retreats to urban terraces and private gardens, this collection seamlessly adapts to both casual and refined environments. The innovative combination of materials enhances its aesthetic appeal: an aluminum frame, wrapped in a modern, lightweight braided rope, preserves the metallic essence while adding a tactile and dynamic visual effect.
