During Euroluce 2025, exhibitors revealed innovative lighting designs. Noteworthy presentations include those from Vibia, Preciosa, and KDLN whose works combine aesthetics with the emotional force in architecture and human well-being.

April 8-13—Euroluce 2025 illuminated the evolving landscape of lighting design, presenting light not just as a functional necessity but as an emotional force shaping our spaces. With over 300 leading exhibitors, the event showcased the latest innovations in indoor, outdoor, and industrial lighting, while also serving as a platform for critical discussions on sustainability, digital integration, and the holistic impact of light on human well-being.

Launched this year, the Euroluce International Lighting Forum is bringing together global experts. For two days, on April 10 and 11, visitors will hear industry professionals discuss important topics. Visionary artist Robert Wilson, DRIFT, A.J. Weissbard, Marjan van Aubel, and Kaoru Mende offered insights into the profound relationship between light, architecture, and the future of design.

Our time in Milan allowed us to select standout presentations from brands like Vibia, Preciosa, and KDLN underscored how lighting is being reimagined as both a design statement and a catalyst for sensory experiences.

Shaping Atmospheres with Vibia

Vibia’s installation, Living the Indoor and Outdoor Experience, captivated visitors by redefining the role of lighting in architectural and natural spaces. The installation embraced Vibia’s Shaping Atmospheres philosophy, illustrating how light can dissolve the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Through subtle yet impactful designs, Vibia demonstrated how exterior lighting can be more than just functional—it becomes an emotional and immersive element that enhances both built environments and the surrounding landscape. The exhibit highlighted the brand’s commitment to integrating lighting seamlessly into spaces, offering solutions that respect architectural identity while fostering a deeper connection with nature.

One of the most striking aspects of the installation was its ability to create a fluid dialogue between light, form, and materiality. Collections such as Dots Outdoor, Class, and Out showcased the versatility of outdoor lighting, transforming gardens, terraces, and urban spaces into atmospheric extensions of interior design. Whether through the sculptural playfulness of Dots Outdoor, the refined reinterpretation of classic lampposts in Class, or the organic fluidity of Out, Vibia’s approach to lighting proved to be both innovative and sensorial. By prioritizing warmth, adaptability, and seamless transitions, Vibia’s installation at Euroluce underscored the evolving relationship between light, architecture, and human experience.

Bustling Metropolises Depicted in Crystal Links by Preciosa

Preciosa Lighting brought a dazzling new addition to its Signature Designs collection with the debut of Crystal Links. This innovative lighting concept draws inspiration from the intricate intersections of city streets and the luminous vibrancy of urban nightlife. With a composition of sleek metal tubes and hand-crafted Bohemian crystal bicones, Crystal Links evokes the energy of bustling metropolises, where glowing apartment windows and dynamic architectural lines form a rhythmic visual symphony.

The lighting system employs Preciosa’s ‘injected light’ technique, where specially designed LED chips direct light into the edges of the bicone, creating a mesmerizing interplay of reflections and illumination. Available in static white, tunable white, and RGBW options, Crystal Links offers a versatile and customizable approach to statement lighting.

Alongside Crystal Links, Preciosa introduced its Signature Design Generator, a visualization tool developed in collaboration with Austria-based GPD. This digital configurator allows designers and architects to quickly modify and customize lighting solutions in real time, streamlining the design and consultation process. At Preciosa’s Euroluce stand, visitors were able to test the tool while exploring four distinct architectural setups, demonstrating the adaptability of the Crystal Links, Raw Crystal, Crystal Grid, and Crystal Pixels collections.

By combining centuries-old Bohemian crystal craftsmanship with cutting-edge digital technology, Preciosa continues to push the boundaries of contemporary lighting design, offering limitless possibilities for architectural expression.

Balance and Precision in the Tratto Collection for KDLN

KDLN unveiled its latest lighting innovations, with the Tratto collection by Oliver Schick taking center stage. A study in balance and precision, Tratto combines the elegance of opaline diffusers with the structure of black or satin brass-finished metal frames, creating a lighting presence that is both understated and impactful.

The collection includes Tratto Suspension, Tratto Floor, Tratto Table, and Tratto Wall, each designed to offer a refined yet adaptable approach to illumination. Whether casting a soft glow from a suspended fixture or providing focused lighting in a more intimate setting, Tratto exemplifies KDLN’s commitment to functional beauty and sophisticated design.

Alongside Tratto, KDLN also introduced Polar, a modular suspension light designed by Yonoh Creative Studio. Additionally, KDLN marked a significant milestone with the 10th anniversary of Kushi, a now-iconic piece designed by Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella.
