[Tableware] The Arcturus Group: Arthur Krupp

The German brand Arthur Krupp by the (Italian) Arcturus Group exhibited fine pieces of tableware from this year’s collections, a complete table and kitchen range able to meet the needs of the hotel and professional catering customers.

The six new porcelain plate collections by Arthur Krupp illustrate color and material research to a fine degree with inspiration from botany, craftsmanship, ancient ethnic textiles or even industrial style. The subtle white surfaces with a combination of sophisticated glossy or matt surfaces portray the latest expertise and production technology to obtain 3D decorations. The overlapping of graphic and material decals provides a pleasant tactile and luminous effect.

The six collections include Shade – Sea & Earth, Ancient Wall, Nature Essence, Wood Essence, Mandala and Eclipse – Night & Day. Balancing porcelain and the durability of an underglaze decoration, the Shade – Sea & Earth collection is a study of the nuances of sea and earth with consideration of handmade “shards” and imperfect handmade products typical of the past. As the name suggests, the Ancient Wall collection resembles the unusual charm of worn plaster, typical of the reclaimed walls of industrial buildings. Through a special relief, Nature Essence amplifies and redesigns the typical vegetable ribbing of leaves.

Wood Essence recalls the spirit and intensity of mature woods on porcelain surfaces, while the Mandala collection is an articulated table collection with unique chromatic richness and in four sophisticated motifs, all devoted to the art of weaving and to the symbology, typical ancient artifacts. Eclipse – Night & Day includes both the lightness of white and the depth of absolute black.

[Tableware] The Arcturus Group: Arzberg

The German brand Arzberg by the Arcturus Group set up an exquisite display with its Joyn collection, the brand’s most recent collection with a stoneware range add-on exhibited at the event. While the stoneware range has been added to the collection, it reinterprets Joyn identity.

The pieces express white porcelain with grey and mint green colors and natural texture materials. A special coloring technique applied to the ceramic compound gives rise to fascinating earthy nuances of varying degrees of warmth. From the softness of beige, they reach clay-red or grey shades, making dishes and accessories resemble made-of-stone items.

The full collection is a display of different colors, textures and materials. Made in Germany porcelain meets stoneware elements, with special pieces that enrich the line. A fascinating mix of materials that combine artisanal-look design handmade mood, marked by glaze drippings on the Grey and Mint Green porcelain and the Joyn Stoneware extension.
