Varaschin’s latest outdoor furniture collections, including the new REUSE line, emphasize sustainability and innovative design, reinforcing the company’s commitment to eco-friendly, high-quality products.

Varaschin continues to set the benchmark for quality and innovation for outdoor spaces. Renowned for their exceptional outdoor furniture, Varaschin’s latest product lines highlight the company’s commitment to blending aesthetics with sustainability, solidifying its reputation as a leader in the industry.

Since its inception in 1969, Varaschin has consistently evolved, maintaining a perfect balance between traditional craftsmanship and modern design. The brand’s collections are celebrated for their comfort, ergonomic excellence, and nature-inspired aesthetics. Their ethos, encapsulated in the phrase “Outdoor Therapy,” underscores the company’s dedication to enhancing well-being through thoughtful design.

Varaschin’s newest offerings embody the company’s mission to promote a lifestyle that harmonizes with nature. These collections not only meet the highest standards of quality and elegance but also prioritize environmental sustainability.

The Collections: REUSE, Noss, Barcode and Bali, & More

Varaschin launched several products during Salone del Mobile 2024, showcasing their commitment to innovation and design. These exciting additions to their catalog will be available for purchase starting January 2025, offering customers the opportunity to elevate their outdoor spaces with Varaschin’s renowned quality and style.

The brand new REUSE collection represents Varaschin’s pioneering steps towards sustainable innovation. Comprising an armchair, lounge chair, pouf, and lounge pouf, this collection is characterized by its soft, organic lines. Every element is designed with reuse in mind, adhering to the principles of the circular economy. The structures are crafted from Okumè wood, and assembled without bolts or adhesives, ensuring ease of recycling. The upholstery features hemp fabric from plants grown without fertilizers, minimizing environmental impact. By excluding materials composed of multiple raw components, Varaschin simplifies the end-of-life recovery process for these products.

Equally impressive is the Noss collection, which leverages the eco-friendly properties of aluminum—a material that is 100% recyclable and almost endlessly reusable. The seats are finished with powder coating, a process that eschews solvents, toxic heavy metals, and volatile organic compounds (VOC), significantly reducing environmental impact compared to traditional liquid paints.

Further exemplifying Varaschin’s dedication to sustainability are the Barcode and Bali collections. These lines are crafted entirely from certified solid teak wood sourced from responsibly managed plantations. This practice not only respects natural ecosystems but also ensures fair treatment of workers and compliance with all regulatory standards concerning raw material origins.

The Emma Bergère Long, designed by Monica Armani for Varaschin, expands on the iconic Emma Bergère with a more enveloping design. Featuring the collection’s signature woven backrest, this elegant piece is ideal for exclusive outdoor spaces. New for 2024, the Emma Bergère Long boasts an aluminum structure available in various colors and a lounge seat designed for ergonomic support and comfort, making it a standout addition to both residential and contract settings.

The Emma collection, designed by architect Monica Armani for Varaschin, now includes the Emma Long Lounge Armchair. This new chaise longue features a light, airy powder-coated aluminum structure, a distinctive handmade weave, and an exceptionally comfortable seat. Blending modernity and refinement, the Emma Long Lounge Armchair offers a fresh expression of elegance and comfort.

From the new REUSE collection to the Emma Long Lounge Armchair, Varaschin continues to innovate with eco-friendly and stylish outdoor furniture.

Sustainable Fabrics and a Vision for the Future

Varaschin’s commitment to sustainability extends to their choice of fabrics. By selecting fibers that do not require dyeing after production, the company significantly reduces water, energy, and chemical use. This innovative approach results in fabrics that are not only beautiful and durable but also environmentally friendly, generating much less pollution.

Varaschin’s vision is clear: to be the European reference point for qualified outdoor furniture that encourages people to live in harmony with nature. Their products are designed to ensure high levels of comfort, wellness, and conviviality, merging beauty with sustainability.

With these new collections, Varaschin continues to lead by example, demonstrating that it is possible to create luxurious, high-performance outdoor furniture that is also environmentally responsible. As the company aligns with the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, it remains dedicated to enhancing both individual well-being and the health of the planet.

In a market increasingly driven by the desire for sustainable living, Varaschin’s innovative approach sets a new standard for outdoor furniture, proving that elegance and eco-consciousness can indeed coexist in perfect harmony.
