Set to take place from April 8th to 13th at Fiera Milano, Rho, this year’s event will feature over 2,000 exhibitors from 37 countries, highlighting the global impact of the design and furnishing industry. The event will feature a record-breaking 169,000 square meters of exhibition space, including the highly anticipated return of the Euroluce Biennial, spotlighting the future of lighting design. The 2025 edition will present four major annual exhibitions: the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Workplace3.0, and S.Project. With over 1,000 brands participating, including 73 first-time exhibitors or returnees, the event will showcase a dynamic blend of tradition and innovation.
A major highlight is the newly redesigned exhibition layout, featuring a loop-shaped structure across four pavilions (13-15 and 22-24) to enhance visitor navigation. A dedicated section, A Luxury Way, will celebrate timeless Italian craftsmanship, emphasizing the country’s renowned ability to create enduring design pieces. SaloneSatellite’s theme for 2025, New Craftsmanship: A New World, will explore the fusion of traditional handcraft with modern technology, reflecting on sustainability and cultural heritage.
As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainability, the event organizers have reinforced the ISO 20121 sustainable events management certification process, further solidifying Salone del Mobile’s reputation as a forward-thinking global platform. The Salone’s Green Guidelines for Installations will be promoted among exhibitors to encourage eco-friendly designs and reduced environmental impact.


Euroluce Biennial and The Future of Lighting Design
Returning after its resounding success in 2023, Euroluce 2025 will feature over 300 exhibitors, nearly half of whom are international. This biennial event will serve as a global hub for lighting design, showcasing innovations in AI-driven smart lighting, biophilic design, and user-controlled ambiance creation.
A major addition to this year’s program is The Euroluce International Lighting Forum, scheduled for April 10-11 at Pavilion 2. This two-day event will feature masterclasses, roundtables, and workshops under the theme Light for Life. Light for Spaces. Experts from various fields—including architects, scientists, and artists—will discuss the evolving role of lighting in contemporary design. The forum will take place at the Forest of Space Arena, a striking installation designed by renowned Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto.

The event will kick off with Mother, a powerful site-specific installation by acclaimed artist Robert Wilson at the Museo Pietà Rondanini – Castello Sforzesco. Additional highlights include La Dolce Attesa, an immersive project by Oscar-winning filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino (Pavilions 22-24), and Villa Héritage, a visionary interior design installation by Pierre-Yves Rochon (Pavilions 13-15).
Beyond the fairgrounds, Milan will come alive with over 100 showrooms participating in the Fuorisalone initiative, offering design enthusiasts the chance to experience exclusive previews and events throughout the city. A collaboration with leading design schools will see more than 100 students assisting visitors with insights on exhibitions and citywide events, further enhancing the overall experience.
In addition, the Salone del Mobile 2025 will renew its ties with the Teatro alla Scala Foundation, hosting an exclusive opening evening performance curated by Robert Wilson, The Night Before. Object Chairs Opera. The production will feature some of the most iconic operatic pieces directed by Wilson, accompanied by the Teatro alla Scala Orchestra, conducted by Michele Spotti.
