MOM knows best, and in this case we’re talking about a color trend for this winter: brick red!
The online product design catalog MOM offers us a taste of a few objects with this winter’s selected color brick red. It’s, without doubt, the perfect choice for the upcoming holiday season. Here are a few words from MOM.
“Cozy and warm, brick red invades interiors with its muted and daring hue. Brick red subtly plays the color card with its mineral velvety, reminiscent of stone and clay.”
The team at MOM has put forward a few products to show how lovely the color fits with various materials. We’re convinced.
Nanda is designed by Stig Jonsson and is a part of the collection of handmade woolen rugs called Woolen Dhurries. (See featured image).
Designed by Meghedi Simonian for Kann, Mid is a handmade Scandinavian style sofa and a modern interpretation of the company’s famous Bi Back daybed. The Mid straight sofa has a walnut back, completed with three cushions. With its straight feets and lines, this can be placed in the center of your living room.
&k amsterdam designed “bowl agate blue” for &klevering. These agateware bowls are characterized by using a combination of two contrasting colored clays. In this case a mix of terracotta and stoneware is used. Due to the use of this technique and the fact that every vase is handmade all of them are unique. The inside of this bowl is finished with a blue glaze.
