The multi-award-winning firm has created a modern-style bathroom ensemble called Sento, designed in-house.
Over the years, Turkish firm VitrA has offered products that take bathing to a different level with the help of their in-house designers from their Eczacıbaşı Design Team. Formed in 2011, the team is based at the VitrA Innovation Center—Turkey’s first R&D Center for building products.
Recently, they designed and launched one of VitrA’s latest bathroom collections aptly called Sento. The collection includes a set of modern bathroom furniture that contributes to the ambiance and accentuates the bathing experience, recreating the real sento sense, which also means bathhouse in Japanese.
The Sento Bathroom Collection
The new collection has contemporary fixtures that include single or double washbasins and cabinets in tall and short sizes that can be easily mounted on low-level wooden platforms designed with rounded legs. The collection’s neutral color palette is a visual treat with each bathroom furniture coated with thermoforming in pastel pink, grey, white and black. One may think that this collection is inspired by the retro shapes of mid-century modern furniture from the 50s and 60s, but the Sento collection emanates more of the Japanese minimalist vibe, a progressive trend that we see in many bathrooms at present.
Bestsellers from the Sento Bathroom Collection
One of the best-sellers in the collection is the Sento wall-hung toilet bowl. Attached to the wall, the toilet bowl also has a large and ergonomic seating area for comfortable use with a lid that slowly closes and a flushing technology that saves water. The collection also has touch-sensor operated LED mirrors with curved edges that make it blend easily with other curved shaped furniture in the bathroom.
VitrA Woodmix Tiles Go Well with the Sento Bathroom Collection
