Dutch designer Dorine Vos was sitting in the park in Amsterdam when this innovative solution came to mind. Parqer Glass received the Red Dot Design Award Product Design 2016, thanks to its special foot, which has been replaced by an aluminum pin “that can be ‘parqed’ at any soft surface.” They’ve created an easy-to-carry box made out of recycled cardboard and a metal cap, also shockproof and easily stored, in which the glasses are packed. The interior of the box is made of hard plastic for optimal protection.
One Parqer Set contains two Parqers, developed and assembled 100% in the Netherlands with glass from Leerdam in combination with a minimalistic anodized aluminum pin available in different colors: Syrah silver, Pinot Noir black, Chardonnay gold and Alvarinho green.
