Finish brand Framery has installed its “Q” acoustic booth in one of Europe’s largest coworking spaces. Designed with quality ventilation which is renewed every 1 to 1.30 minutes, Framery’s expertise as a leading brand of acoustic booths might be a key solution to getting offices running smoothly again.

In October 2020, Framery began installing its “Q” acoustic booth in the coworking space called Spaces in La Défense, Paris.

Companies responsible for workspaces as well as traditional office spaces need to rethink the spatial organization of employees and their teams during the current health crisis. It is, in fact, an opportunity to improve the efficiency of how people work.

In some cases, coworking spaces have become an alternative to working from home and for companies that were forced to terminate their contract for renting an office space.

By installing the “Q” acoustic booth in Spaces, the coworking establishment is ensuring a professional environment that allows workers to maintain social interactions in a safe manner.

“Our solution opens up new possibilities for Spaces La Défense users, providing temporary isolation for meetings, phone calls or tasks that would require greater concentration,” said Céline Fraquelli, Sales Manager at Framery France, as stated in a press release.

The Framery Q booth can accommodate up to four people and has soundproof insulation developed by the company. By using materials such as metal sheet, birch plywood, recycled acoustic foam, acoustic felt, double-layered soundproofing laminated glass and watertight door, Framery has gained optimal soundproofing for its booths.

Two solid points which put the Q booth forward during the health crisis is that not only is it easy to clean and disinfect, but the cabin has completely renewed air every 1 to 1.30 minutes.

It’s ideal for co-working tasks such as small meetings or interviews without interruptions. Framery Q is easy to assemble, relocate and has several models to choose from to best accommodate a company’s work style. Framery Q solves the most common issues found in the open office floor plan—productivity amidst distraction—whether it be lack of privacy, concentration or recurrent disturbances within the workplace.

Additional Booths Worth Mentioning

Here are a few other products by Framery as described in their most recent press release. Although, you can design your own pod with Framery as well.

An innovative solution to workplace privacy, Framery O is a phone booth for private calls and video conferencing. Featuring a simple design, the booth is echo-free and provides a comfortable working environment for users. Framery O is thoughtfully crafted with clean lines and premium materials, both inside and out. Equipped with a Tovi stool, Framery O allows users to adjust their working position, guaranteeing elevated ergonomic support.

Serving as an elevated phone booth experience and designed to accommodate one person, Framery O VCR (Video Conference Ready) was made for easy collaboration and virtual face-to-face conferencing. It provides a private, soundproof solution for facetime. The Framery design team created the pod to have accessible features and functionality that is easy for the end-user—this includes a tilting screen bracket for adjustability, as well as an LED lighting and control panel to optimize comfort while on a conference call.

Designed to accommodate four to six people, Framery 2Q provides users with a multifunctional workplace that offers a heightened sense of privacy and comfort. Framery 2Q comes in three furnishing configurations so clients can customize the product to meet the specific needs of their space. A conference table with two height options is optimal for laptop use or workshop.‎ Clients can also choose the pod without furnishings, leaving them the option to outfit it however they wish.

The third interior furnishing option, which launched just this year, is a custom L-shaped sofa designed for optimal comfort. The sofa creates a more casual environment for company meetings, a calm space to retreat to during the workday or an area for socializing. Clients can increase the pod’s functionality by attaching a display screen on the wall opposite to the sofa. Additional options include two whiteboards and lightweight free-standing, floating tables to make for a more ergonomic workspace.
